I remember the day when I realized this is the one root skill that will making you unique from your peers in the fitness industry.
My dad would always reference Warren Buffett's simplicity and his mindset about money. So I read an interview one day, and I remember him saying something about how the best investment he ever made was a $100 communication course. It improved his public speaking and gave him skills that bled into his business life.
For some reason, I resonated with this heavily. Recently, Buffett elaborated on this by saying, "The one easy way to become worth 50 percent more than you are now — at least — is to hone your communication skills — both written and verbal. If you can’t communicate, it’s like winking at a girl in the dark — nothing happens. You can have all the brainpower in the world, but you have to be able to transmit it."
